Shipping
In-stock items typically ship within 2 business days. For made-to-order (MTO) items, please allow up to 4 weeks. This timeframe allows our skilled sewists to meticulously craft your order to meet our high standards. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
You'll receive an email when your order is ready for pickup or being shipped. Please check your spam folder, as our emails sometimes end up there. In the rare event of a delay, we'll promptly reach out to you. For any other questions about your order, feel free to email us. We're here to assist you.
GARMENT CARE
Enjoy the ease of machine washing for most items! Ponte de Roma pieces without leather or faux leather can be cold-washed and laid flat to dry. Use a laundry bag to protect against pilling.
For items with leather or faux leather, trust them to a professional cleaner specializing in leather care.

YC SIZING
Consult our size chart or let us help with your measurements through a virtual fitting. Our stretchy ponte de Roma fabric provides flexibility in sizing, ensuring a comfortable fit. We're here to make sure you find the perfect size for you.
Returns
As a small business, we currently do not process returns. However, we happily offer store credit and exchanges for your satisfaction, with a 15% restocking fee for return credit on *approved sale items, made-to-order items, or custom garments. An additional 10% restocking fee is applied for exchanged or credit items purchased at craft fairs and trade shows. Our commitment to a small environmental footprint means many items are made to order. Returning an item creates an additional product to sell, impacting our eco-friendly practices. Similarly, in-stock items, especially at events, represent missed opportunities.
While we strive for perfection, occasional hiccups happen. If you purchase in person, kindly inspect your items for defects on the spot; our lifetime repair guarantee has you covered. For mail orders, reach out and email us at hello@yellowcakeshop.comif you receive a damaged or defective item, and we'll ensure it's made right. Note that damage caused by the mail carrier may require you to file a claim—consider purchasing shipping insurance for items over $100 for added peace of mind.

Enhance your YC experience with our gift wrapping service, featuring tissue paper and a YC sticker on the front, available for just $10. Additionally, any mystery swag items from online purchases come beautifully gift-wrapped as well.
We are happy to offer payment plans, both in-person and online! We offer payment plans in 1/2, 1/3, and 1/4 increments. To initiate a payment plan order, please email us at hello@yellowcakeshop.com and we'll get you started!

How It Works:
- Submit Your Item: Contact us to let us know about the Yellowcake item you'd like to sell back. Provide a few details and photos to help us assess its condition.
- Receive an Offer: We'll evaluate your item and offer you 20% of its estimated resale value. This value is determined by halving the original sales price and adjusting based on the item's condition.
- Bring It In: If you accept our offer, set up a time to drop it off to our shop in Gordon Square.
- Get Paid: Once we receive and inspect the item, we'll issue your store credit.
