I've owned this dress for seven years - I bought it in college, and can still wear it two babies later. Needless to say, I jumped at the chance for a second one when this preorder opened! The fabric has enough give to adjust over time, and the seams give it enough structure to stay flattering even as life throws big changes your way. And it's a high quality garment (as is everything else I've purchased from YC), so it really can be a staple piece for many years.
